How does the transition from the physical Edenred card to a new 100% virtual card dedicated to your Edenred Gift vouchers take place?

Edenred is upgrading your Edenred Gift vouchers to a new virtual card dedicated to your gift vouchers. Between 7 and 14 September, the full balance of your Edenred Gift vouchers will be automatically transferred from your physical Edenred card to a brand-new virtual card. 

1. What happens during this transition?

• Your Edenred Gift voucher balance will be unavailable from 7 to 14 September 2026.
• A new virtual card will be created. It will be available and can be activated from your MyEdenred account. The balance will be transferred to it on 14 September.
• You will then be able to add your virtual card to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet, from your virtual wallet, or via the MyEdenred app.

Important: please keep your red Edenred card. It remains valid for your Edenred Meal vouchers and can still be used for your food purchases during the transfer period of your Edenred Gift vouchers.

2. Option to request a physical Edenred Gift card
   
   If, despite the ease of use offered by our new virtual card, you would prefer to use your Edenred Gift vouchers with a physical card, you can order one via your MyEdenred account. More information available here.
